Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rudolf Nureyev by Sally Soames was sold in the The Male Form auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,147.50 (€ 1,337.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sally Soames - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Andy Warhol at his Factory in New York, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,810.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rudolf Nureyev von Sally Soames wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion The Male Form bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.147,50 (€ 1.337,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sally Soames mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Andy Warhol at his Factory in New York beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.810,78) versteigert wurde.
