The work Standing Bedouins by Saleh Hadi Al-Jumaie was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction at Bonhams in January this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,230.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Saleh Hadi Al-Jumaie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract Composition in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,559.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Standing Bedouins von Saleh Hadi Al-Jumaie wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.230,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Saleh Hadi Al-Jumaie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract Composition im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.559,15).
