Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art Now and Ten, which included the work Untitled (Woman Standing In The Rain) by Safwan Dahoul. The »bidding war« ended at USD 173,000.00 (€ 151,887.62), 15% above the upper estimate. Other works by Safwan Dahoul have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74) in October 2014 for the work Rêve.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Dubai: Modern and Contemporary Art Now and Ten durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Woman Standing In The Rain) von Safwan Dahoul zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 151.887,62) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Safwan Dahoul haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 205.107,74) im Oktober 2014 für die Arbeit Rêve beobachtet.
