Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (from the Rêve series) by Safwan Dahoul was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,602.06). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Safwan Dahoul - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rêve, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from the Rêve series) von Safwan Dahoul wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.602,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Safwan Dahoul mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rêve beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 257.000,00 (€ 205.107,74) versteigert wurde.
