Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sadegh Tabrizi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction, the work Two Horsemen sold for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,914.24) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sadegh Tabrizi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2010 for USD 28,750.00 (€ 21,667.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sadegh Tabrizi erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections wurde die Arbeit Two Horsemen für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.914,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sadegh Tabrizi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für USD 28.750,00 (€ 21.667,04) versteigert wurde.
