Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections, which included the work Three Women On Horseback by Sadegh Tabrizi. The price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,428.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sadegh Tabrizi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2010 for USD 28,750.00 (€ 21,667.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Women On Horseback von Sadegh Tabrizi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.428,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sadegh Tabrizi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für USD 28.750,00 (€ 21.667,04) versteigert wurde.
