Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2016 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work The Last Promontory, Lands End by Ruth Stage. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,578.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Ruth Stage have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work New York Harbour was auctioned for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,891.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Last Promontory, Lands End von Ruth Stage zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.578,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ruth Stage konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2006 die Arbeit New York Harbour für GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.891,32) versteigert.
