In February 2003 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work A shepherdess amongst her flock at dusk by Ruggero Panerai. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,774.02), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ruggero Panerai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Militari in perlustrazione in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 52,080.00.

Im Februar 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit A shepherdess amongst her flock at dusk von Ruggero Panerai zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 3.774,02) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ruggero Panerai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Militari in perlustrazione im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.080,00.
