Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal City with Shipping by Moonlight by Rufin Gavrilovich Sudkovsky for GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,649.86). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures and Works of Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rufin Gavrilovich Sudkovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A stranded derelict at dusk in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 37,045.00 (€ 55,581.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Coastal City with Shipping by Moonlight von Rufin Gavrilovich Sudkovsky für GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.649,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures and Works of Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rufin Gavrilovich Sudkovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A stranded derelict at dusk im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.045,00 (€ 55.581,15).
