A top price for Rudolf Jelinek - as previously expected
In March 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A girl from Volendam reading by Rudolf Jelinek. The price achieved of EUR 1,175.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A girl from Volendam reading is the most expensive artwork by Rudolf Jelinek that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im März 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A girl from Volendam reading von Rudolf Jelinek zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.175,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A girl from Volendam reading das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rudolf Jelinek, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
