The work Intersect Ii by Roy Johnston was sold in the Post War and Contemporary Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2006. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,378.72), 44% above the upper estimate. With this result, Intersect Ii is even the most expensive work of art by Roy Johnston that we have observed at auctions so far.
