Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pamela Anderson and David La Chapelle, Los Angeles 2001 by Roxanne Lowit was auctioned at Il Ponte in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,400.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Roxanne Lowit have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pamela Anderson and David LaChapelle, L.A. in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,795.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pamela Anderson and David La Chapelle, Los Angeles 2001 von Roxanne Lowit kam im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.400,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roxanne Lowit auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pamela Anderson and David LaChapelle, L.A. im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.795,73).
