Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (RB 1822), 1999 by Ross Bleckner for DKK 35,000.00 (€ 4,698.72). This price was achieved in the auction Modern paintings, sculptures and prints at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ross Bleckner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of USD 277,200.00 (€ 258,317.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (RB 1822), 1999 von Ross Bleckner für DKK 35.000,00 (€ 4.698,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern paintings, sculptures and prints bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ross Bleckner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 277.200,00 (€ 258.317,03).
