This artwork by Rosemary Madigan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in March 2006. In the THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION auction, the work Three Collages sold for AUD 2,151.00 (€ 1,269.62) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosemary Madigan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 43,020.00 (€ 25,392.40).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rosemary Madigan erzielte im März 2006 bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE W.R. BURGE COLLECTION wurde die Arbeit Three Collages für AUD 2.151,00 (€ 1.269,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosemary Madigan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 43.020,00 (€ 25.392,40).
