The work Portrait Of A Lady by Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2014. The auction ended at the price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,037.04), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of A Lady, Seated, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Green Satin Dress And A Bonnet With Red Ribbons, which sold at auction in April 2016 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 98,330.57).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Rose-Adélaïde Ducreux wurde im Januar 2014 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.037,04) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
