It achieved a price of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,118.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roman Kramsztyk - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Montagne Sainte-Victoire, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 106,500.00 (€ 125,110.07).

Die Arbeit Polish still Life With Apples And Croissants von Roman Kramsztyk wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.118,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Roman Kramsztyk mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Montagne Sainte-Victoire beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 106.500,00 (€ 125.110,07) versteigert wurde.
