Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Automne A la Côte Flamande: Sunset Over The Sea by Romain Steppe. The price achieved of EUR 600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Other works by Romain Steppe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Boats In A Riverbed was auctioned for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,112.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Automne A la Côte Flamande: Sunset Over The Sea von Romain Steppe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Romain Steppe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Boats In A Riverbed für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.112,79) versteigert.
