Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wooded Landscape, Provence by Roger Fry was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,485.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Fry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of E.M. Forster in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 325,062.00 (€ 362,581.90).
