Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2024 Bonhams in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Winter Sports In The French Alps. Plm. From Saint-Gervais To The Voza Pass By The Mont-Blanc Railway by Roger Broders. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,632.00 (€ 9,426.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roger Broders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Sports D'Hiver A St.Pierre De Chartreuse in January 2012 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,164.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2024 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Sports In The French Alps. Plm. From Saint-Gervais To The Voza Pass By The Mont-Blanc Railway von Roger Broders zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.632,00 (€ 9.426,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roger Broders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Sports D'Hiver A St.Pierre De Chartreuse im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.164,74).
