In February this year Bonhams held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work London - Baghdad by Roger Broders. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,036.03), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Broders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Sports D'Hiver A St.Pierre De Chartreuse in January 2012 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,164.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit London - Baghdad von Roger Broders zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.036,03) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Broders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Sports D'Hiver A St.Pierre De Chartreuse im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.164,74).
