Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art I, which included the work Fresque Pour L'Académie Ranson I - Circa 1932 by Roger Bissière. The price achieved of EUR 123,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Bissière - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition 119 (Oiseau Rouge Sur Noir), which sold at auction in May 2012 for EUR 384,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fresque Pour L'Académie Ranson I - Circa 1932 von Roger Bissière zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 123.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Roger Bissière mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition 119 (Oiseau Rouge Sur Noir) beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für EUR 384.750,00 versteigert wurde.
