Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Way Out 2 by Robyn Denny for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,145.86). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robyn Denny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Austin Reed Mural in October this year with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 405,112.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Way Out 2 von Robyn Denny für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.145,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robyn Denny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Austin Reed Mural im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 405.112,41).
