Despite a disappointment, a good price for Robertson K. Mygatt
When the work Spring with Yellow-Orange Trees 7 7/8 x 10 in. framed 14 x 16 in. by Robertson K. Mygatt was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 700.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 573.75 (€ 536.32). Despite this disappointing result, Spring with Yellow-Orange Trees 7 7/8 x 10 in. framed 14 x 16 in. is the most expensive artwork by Robertson K. Mygatt that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Spring with Yellow-Orange Trees 7 7/8 x 10 in. framed 14 x 16 in. von Robertson K. Mygatt im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 573,75 (€ 536,32) den Besitzer.
