In May 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Three Mushrooms by Roberto Juárez. The »bidding war« ended at USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,961.43), 28% above the upper estimate. With this result, Three Mushrooms is even the most expensive work of art by Roberto Juárez that we have observed at auctions so far.
