Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tina, The Artist'S Wife by Robert Wraith was sold in the British and Continental Watercolours auction at Christies in London in July 2006. The price achieved of GBP 264.00 (€ 386.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Wraith - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work My Two Friends, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 840.00 (€ 1,247.43).
