In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work La Jeunesse, Head And Torso by Robert Wlérick. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,411.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Jeunesse, Head And Torso is the most expensive artwork by Robert Wlérick that we have observed at auctions so far.
