However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Sivell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sea, which sold at auction in March 2006 for GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,158.15).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 822,50 (€ 1.339,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Sivell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Sea beobachtet, die im März 2006 für GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.158,15) versteigert wurde.
