Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Robert Natkin was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,999.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Natkin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 58,000.00 (€ 37,255.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Natkin wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.999,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Natkin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.000,00 (€ 37.255,91).
