Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Robert Natkin was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,499.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Natkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 58,000.00 (€ 37,255.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Natkin wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.499,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Natkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.000,00 (€ 37.255,91).
