It achieved a price of USD 22,950.00 (€ 22,495.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Robert Natkin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 58,000.00 (€ 37,255.91).
