Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, 2000 by Robert Hudson for USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,210.02). This price was achieved in the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Hudson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in July 2015 for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,400.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, 2000 von Robert Hudson für USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.210,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Hudson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juli 2015 für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.400,44) versteigert wurde.
