Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Art of Hawaiʻi, which included the work Under the Palm Trees by Robert Eskridge. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,792.00 (€ 1,653.29), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Eskridge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Waikiki in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 43,825.00 (€ 36,716.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The Art of Hawaiʻi durch, in der auch die Arbeit Under the Palm Trees von Robert Eskridge zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.792,00 (€ 1.653,29) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Eskridge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Waikiki im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.825,00 (€ 36.716,66).
