Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'In These Days And This Hour Of Fury, Nature Is The Strongest; 'Well Well My Friends' by Robert Brandy was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Brandy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work up here. 1984. in December 2015 with an auction result of CHF 4,375.00 (€ 4,022.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'In These Days And This Hour Of Fury, Nature Is The Strongest; 'Well Well My Friends' von Robert Brandy im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 120,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Brandy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit up here. 1984. im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 4.375,00 (€ 4.022,07).
