Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans Titre - 1987 by Robert Barry was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,550.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Barry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 37,839.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1987 von Robert Barry kam im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.550,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Barry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bright Green Wallpiece With Silver Words im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 37.839,43).
