Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction A Life of Discovery: Works from The Allan Stone Collection | Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled 2 Works by Robert Baribeau. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,836.94). Admittedly, works by Robert Baribeau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,729.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion A Life of Discovery: Works from The Allan Stone Collection | Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 2 Works von Robert Baribeau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.836,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Baribeau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.729,87).
