Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Crest by Robert Adams was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,120.00 (€ 5,973.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Longmont, Colorado in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 70,896.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Crest von Robert Adams wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.120,00 (€ 5.973,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Adams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Longmont, Colorado im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 70.896,81).
