Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fringillidae MMXVIII (Finch) - 2018 by ROA was auctioned at Artcurial in December last year. The price achieved of EUR 9,184.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by ROA - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Crow - 2010, which sold at auction in February 2020 for EUR 24,700.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fringillidae MMXVIII (Finch) - 2018 von ROA kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.184,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von ROA mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Crow - 2010 beobachtet, die im Februar 2020 für EUR 24.700,00 versteigert wurde.
