Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2011 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Post-North-Korean Nuclear Test #28 (Only The Paranoids Survive) by Ristyo Eko Hartanto. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 10,862.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ristyo Eko Hartanto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Post-North-Korea Nuclear Test (The Price Of Freedom Is Eternal Vigilance), which sold at auction in October 2010 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,853.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Post-North-Korean Nuclear Test #28 (Only The Paranoids Survive) von Ristyo Eko Hartanto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 10.862,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ristyo Eko Hartanto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Post-North-Korea Nuclear Test (The Price Of Freedom Is Eternal Vigilance) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.853,75) versteigert wurde.
