Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Le diable mondi by Richard Luboski was auctioned at Christies in Paris in July 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 137.50. Other works by Richard Luboski have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2007 by the work Sans Titre, 1958 at EUR 247.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Le diable mondi von Richard Luboski im Juli 2010 bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 137,50 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Richard Luboski wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar 2007 die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1958 mit EUR 247,00.
