A top price for Richard Loffler - as previously expected
In February 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Work From Home, which included the work Teenage Pride; Sitting Grizzly (a lot of two) 12 1/4in; 5 1/4in high 15in; 7 1/2in high, on stone and wooden bases by Richard Loffler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of USD 510.00 (€ 421.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Teenage Pride; Sitting Grizzly (a lot of two) 12 1/4in; 5 1/4in high 15in; 7 1/2in high, on stone and wooden bases is the most expensive artwork by Richard Loffler that we have observed at auctions so far.
