Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pomone by Richard Guino was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,881.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Guino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande maternité in March 2017 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
