Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Arab Camp At Sunset by Richard Fuchs was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,734.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Fuchs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gate in Morocco in March last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59).

Die Arbeit An Arab Camp At Sunset von Richard Fuchs kam im Februar 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.734,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Fuchs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gate in Morocco im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.693,59).
