This artwork by Richard Eurich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2017. In the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work The Galilee sold for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,164.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Eurich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work York Festival Triptych, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 104,500.00 (€ 130,567.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Eurich erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit The Galilee für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.164,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Eurich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit York Festival Triptych beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 104.500,00 (€ 130.567,75) versteigert wurde.
