This artwork by Richard Eurich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2017. In the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work The Fishing Trawler sold for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 78,293.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Richard Eurich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot York Festival Triptych sold at auction in June 2014 with the realized price of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 130,567.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 96 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Eurich erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit The Fishing Trawler für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 78.293,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Richard Eurich; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit York Festival Triptych im Juni 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 130.567,75).
