Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in London held the auction Modern/British & Irish Art, which included the work Break Through Chesil Beach by Richard Eurich. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,689.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Eurich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work York Festival Triptych in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 130,567.75).
