Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work Angelo, a peasant boy of the Roman campagna by Richard Buckner. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,809.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Richard Buckner have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2004 the work Portrait Of Sir Charles Morgan Robinson Morgan, 1St Baron Tredegar, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Black Coat And Red Waistcoat, Holding A Riding Crop, In A Landscape was auctioned for GBP 10,157.50 (€ 14,611.51).

Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Angelo, a peasant boy of the Roman campagna von Richard Buckner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.809,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
