Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Murry could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Portrait of the Artist's Father and Mother changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,498.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Richard Murry have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2017 by the work Will Peace Look Better? at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,783.27).
