In March 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction British & Continental Paintings, which included the work Paseo Por El Lago (Autour Du Lac) by Ricardo Diaqué. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,355.90), 52% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ricardo Diaqué have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A l'atelier in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,311.18).

Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion British & Continental Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paseo Por El Lago (Autour Du Lac) von Ricardo Diaqué zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.355,90) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ricardo Diaqué auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A l'atelier im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 16.311,18).
