Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Lluvia azul by Ricardo Cárdenas. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,472.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Ricardo Cárdenas have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2020 the work Lluvia roja was auctioned for USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,554.40).

Im August 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lluvia azul von Ricardo Cárdenas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.472,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ricardo Cárdenas konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2020 die Arbeit Lluvia roja für USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.554,40) versteigert.
