The work Too Far Too Near by Rhee Ki-Bong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. It achieved a price of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,338.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. With this result, Too Far Too Near is even the most expensive work of art by Rhee Ki-Bong that we have observed at auctions so far.
